Support us

At Skillshare International Ireland we believe that fighting poverty, inequality and injustice is achieved through partnership and community. So we want to involve you and all members of the Irish community as partners in our work.
We support people working to improve lives in their communities, including:

  • The National Institute for the Development of Small-scale Fisheries in Mozambique who are working with women in the small-scale fishing sector to develop their skills and increase productivity and improve their access to markets

Irish Aid, the government's development assistance programme, are lead-funding these programmes, but Skillshare must find €1 to match every €3 the government puts in.

One way you can help is by making a financial contribution to our programmes in Southern Africa. There are several easy ways to give:

What you can do

  • Donate to our programmes in Southern Africa
  •
  • Make a regular gift - make your donations affordable and tax-effective
  •
  • Campaign to eradicate global poverty - take action today
  •
  • Leave us a gift in your will. We can provide details for your solicitor. Click here for general advice on legacies.
  •
  • Become a workplace partner - it's not just about money, find out how your company or organisation can support us.
  •
  • Introduce us to your social club or faith group - our returned development workers can give talks to groups in your area.
  •
  • Fundraise for Skillshare - web search for "fundraising ideas" or contact stephanie.reimer@skillshare.org for advice.

You can also download our fundraising leaflet for further information

It would also be great to hear from you if you are interested in volunteering with us in Ireland. Our set-up in Dublin is very small so you could make a BIG difference by donating your time and expertise. Please email irelandinfo@skillshare.org to find out how you can join us!
